All American Goddess 2023 - Thank You

It's wild to think that as I typed the title of this post, I wasn't referring simply to my experience competing at AAG but actually to my experience becoming All American Goddess 2023. I'm still not sure the reality of the entire situation has fully sank in at this point. I do know that I am overjoyed at the opportunity to forge an amazing relationship with Angel and Jelitza as we travel throughout this year.

Congratulations to Jelitza Fierce, All American Goddess at Large 2023,

and Angel, All American Gent 2023.

Although I genuinely consider pageantry to be a competition with yourself and your own personal limits, one of the greatest joys is getting to compete alongside amazingly talented and creative humans throughout the process. Thank you to the fabulous AAG Class of 2023 for making the backstage experience one filled with joy and camaraderie. Congratulations to the Top 5 for filling the stage with fierceness and fabulosity.

Working with AJA Talents is always such a joy. For as long as I can remember, I have been a complete musical theatre nerd. Alberto and crew have a special way of making every moment feel like my Broadway debut. Thank you to Ethan, Pollux, Delphine, Jennifer, Skyler, and Jack Jack for lending your incomparable talents and joining me on this journey. You have no idea how your positivity and professionalism shaped this entire experience. Your brief pep talks in the wings provide encouragement and inspire calmness in the stressful moments. Thank you for being stars and sharing your light.

From the moment I walked off stage at AAG 2022, there have been two people fanning the proverbial AAG flame incessantly to ensure it was never diminished. Thank you to Tiffany Hunter and Jake Green for believing in me at all times and never allowing your faith to falter. You are my best friends and it would be impossible to adequately thank you for the ways you have changed my life for the better. I could not love you more.

When I won Miss Gay Ohio USofA in 2013, I had no clue the prize package would include a lifelong friend and supporter. Thank you, Johnathan Thacker, for being a cheerleader and sponsor on whatever wild adventure we end up on. Somehow you've figured out my crazy idiosyncrasies and seem to know when it's party time and when it's exactly the right time to just order food and leave me alone. We've had some amazing times together and I look forward to thousands more!

Thank you to my Gateway court, Chasity Valentino and J Klass, for your support and encouragement along this journey. I had such an amazing time getting to know you better and doing this together. I'm incredibly proud of both of you and hope you know that I'm always in your corner.

One of the things I love most about pageantry is the relationships that we build with amazing individuals from around the country. Finding inspiration in those we are lucky enough to call our friends is a special gift that I will never take for granted. Thank you to Pattaya Hart, Dextaci, and Tatiyanna Voche for being endless sources of inspiration and encouragement. You are each a special blessing to our community and deserve to be celebrated.

I'm overflowing with gratitude at the honor of being included in this photo. Although I'm lucky enough to call many of these individuals friends, I know that joining this family will strengthen the established friendships and build unbreakable bonds with others. I look forward to spending time with each of you throughout the coming year and will do everything within my power to make you proud and continue the legacy of AAG Pageantry.

I have no doubt this is going to be the most amazing year of my life. I couldn't be more thankful for this opportunity. Thank you all for joining me on this adventure.

See you soon!
